Hello,
Here’s an unedited radio program from a few weeks back. I’m really going to try to post my weekly show up here from now…i’ve been receiving complaints.

APACHE! still my favorite version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0k0z2MtvLY
One of the most sampled & versioned tracks ever, this Incredible Bongo Band version “has been called ‘hip-hop’s national anthem’ Although this version was not a hit on release, the long percussion break in the middle has been sampled countless times on hip-hop, rap and dance tracks from the 1980s.”

DUDE. Great to have you back.
KILLER set.
Post per week? That’s a hoot. j/k 😉
Great show! My favorite was the locomotive steam engine song, but the rest were pretty sweet, too.
Day,
That video is totally amazing. I imagine that is the sort of psyched-out crazy hippie shit you get up to in rural idaho, no? Why is the keyboard playing thrusting his pelvis into his tower of keyboards?
Do you have that incredible bongo band album? It’s totally rad, and I scored it at a garage sale for next to nothing. Maybe one day I’ll ebay that shit and retire. I hope to keep the sets a flowing. Thanks for the help setting up.
Adrienne,
Adrienne?!,
It’s really cool that you dropped by and listened to some music here. The locomotive recordings are the best, you’re right, I could listen to em all day…I love pumping that shit at the parties, gets them moving.
How’re you?

Thanks Sarah! It’s a nice sort of companion piece to my radio program on KBGA 89.9 FM (www.kbga.org) where I do a 60’s Psych radio show every week. I look forward to checking your site out in the future..Bye!
